Between Two Worlds Mask
The mask is considered gender neutral. Crown has night and day teal color that represents ancestors death and living world. The mask was carved from red cedar, acrylic paint and sterling silver. Created by Anchorage born Alaska Native artist Benjamin Schleifman.
Carved in 2016. The mask was apart of the art show called Decolonizing Alaska Bunnell Gallery.
