Field Works - Stations - CD
What does the earth sound like? In Stations, the 10th volume in the Field Works series, product Stuart Hyatt approaches that question with the help of a team of seismologists working on the EarthScope experiments. Using sophisticated ground recording devices, Field Works has created a new type of museum in which human voice sing along with the actual voice of the earth. Stations features an all-star ensemble of vocalist and instrumentalists, including Hanna Benn, Janie Cowan, Masayoshi Fujita, Stuart Hyatt, Laraaji, Naqvi, and Brad Weber.
The accompanying hard cover book, Stations: Listening to the Deep Earth is available trough the Dutch Publisher Jap Same Books.
