Blood type notations for each recipe are included. All recipes are delicious, and fun and easy to prepare. Nine "frosty" or non-dairy ice creams are included: "Fire & Ice", "Chocolate Frosty", "Strawberry Frosty", "Maple-Walnut Frosty", "Kiwi-Mint Frosty", "Blackberry Frosty", "Blue Whale", "Lavender Frosty", and "Ginger Frosty." Four soups with no added salt are featured: "Lentil Pumpkin Soup", "Giant Vegetable Soup" which is a borscht made with beets, "Golden Pea Soup", and "Go-Veg Gumbo." Four fruit mirrors are beautifully illustrated. The recipe shows how to start out with a simple mirror, some fern, and fruit -- and end up with a breathtaking memorable centerpiece. An authentic German plum cake is featured, gluten-free, of course. I am excited about the pizza recipe because the gluten-free crust is prepared without yeast. A cookbook from Alaska wouldn't be complete without salmon recipes. Readers have raved over the "Salmon Salad" recipe.
