From the artist, "When I create my 3 dimensional art pieces, I am inspired by these seasonal moments. My artistic process starts with treating my initial drawing as a ‘take apart.’ I disconnect the visual elements and pair them down to their basic forms. Then, using colored paper I create a template. The template components are then cut out in wood using a laser cutter. Finally, I rebuild the components into a unique, layered 3-dimensional art piece, and spray with enamel paint to achieve saturated vibrancy."
