These hand painted earrings were created by Crystal Worl, an expert in the art of laser engraving. Using a special technique she learned while making the information plaque for the Elizabeth Peratrovich Mural in Juneau, Alaska, Crystal first paints the back side of a clear acrylic sheet before cutting and engraving from the other side. The result is a beautiful, glossy appearance that resembles natural patterns visible through ice on freshly frozen wetlands.
